Rostechnadzor representative takes part in international workshop on physical protection issues

28.10.2025 Maxim Ivanov, Deputy Head of the Special Security Department of Rostechnadzor, took part in a national workshop in Beijing on the work of the International Physical Protection Advisory Service (IPPAS).
The event was organized by the IAEA and China’s National Nuclear Energy Administration to inform the Administration’s staff and its technical support organization about the specifics of IPPAS’s work in connection with the follow-up mission in 2026.
As part of a group of international experts, Ivanov presented approaches to assessing national regimes and physical protection measures at nuclear facilities used by IPPAS experts.
