The Memorandum of Understanding between Rostechnadzor and the Agency for Atomic Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan is signed

12.11.2025 As part of a state visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the Russian Federation, the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of nuclear and radiation safety regulation in the peaceful use of atomic energy between the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service and the Agency for Atomic Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been signed.
Alexander Trembitsky, Chairman of the Service, and Almasadam Satqaliev, Chairman of the Agency, signed the document.
The solemn ceremony of exchanging folders took place in the Grand Kremlin Palace in the presence of Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation, and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Memorandum determines main lines and forms of cooperation between supervisory authorities of the two countries on all issues related to the regulation of nuclear and radiation safety and security.
