22.11.2022 Launch ceremony on Ural nuclear icebreaker in St. Petersburg
After the sea trial and follow-up inspection after the comprehensive tests of nuclear power installations, the state commission, with the participation of representatives of Rostechnadzor’s North European Interregional Territorial Department for Nuclear and Radiation Safety MTU, signed the acceptance certificate following the completion of the construction of the Ural, the second serial multipurpose nuclear icebreaker of Project 22220 , and its transfer to the operating organization FSUE Atomflot.
