On February 27, 2023, the scientific visit of the delegation of the Iranian Nuclear Regulatory Authority to Rostechnadzor started. It was organized as part of the IAEA technical cooperation program. A representative of Rostechnadzor Department for Special Security took part in the second meeting of legal and technical experts to discuss the need to revise the IAEA document on the fundamentals of nuclear security, which was held at the IAEA in Vienna, Austria, on December 19 to 21, 2022. The meeting was attended by about a hundred specialists from more than forty countries (both in person and via videoconference).
